Megan Krause is a Canadian painter who depicts themes of nature, materialism, and destruction. She is preoccupied with both the conflicts between her own medium of oil paints and the greater oil industry, and with the sufficiency of art for effecting environmental and economic change. Krause's paintings are evocative and surreal probings into the nature of our landscape and our place within it.
